Enjoying myself trying out my new English Long…

Enjoying myself trying out my new English Longbow, made by an American bow maker. This is a single hickory stave and a little different from what I am used to.
………..
I’m loving the quiet, early evening, surrounded by beautiful scenery, as I gently stretch the bow and myself whilst trying out new draw techniques and positions to suit. I’ve also recently made new wooden arrows which you can see in the photo.
………
It’s been a while since I’ve posted and shot a bow, and will need to take things steady to build up the strength and momentum I had before. Does anyone have any tips?
……….
Although, it’s a little challenging and will take some adjustments, it is great to be handling a bow once again.
